In the age of the Internet, with instantaneous data transmission, this shouldn't be that difficult to set up.

We have a full-time political class. People who really don't want to be out in the community. People ask 'does my vote really matter?' In most of the country it doesn't. But Iowa is different. This is going to be a national battleground.

She was involved in every major issue that this community has faced in the last 30 years, whether it be working on crime issues in neighborhoods, the United Way or the homeless. Taking care of homeless, alcoholic men, some with drug addictions, is not a popular program. But she loved those people and made them her life. Their success was so much a part of her.

Until you stop the supply side, it won't fix itself.
